We're a multicultural family of five on a mission to explore the world, one state, one country, one song, and one school of life lesson at a time. Inspiring adventure and connection all along the way.

Our goal is to inspire young parents to embrace world schooling, conscious living, and soulful travel. Through music, movement, and meaningful experiences, we share our journey of homeschooling on the road, blending cultural immersion, entrepreneurship, and family connection. Our mission is to empower families to break free from lives that don't excite them, live intentionally, and see the world as the greatest classroom of all, building meaningful community all along the way! We’re here to share the beauty, the mess, and the miracles of learning through life, service and adventure.

In 2027, we’re hitting the road for a 1–2 year journey with our children and go on tour with Etienne's West African Drum, Dance & Music offerings. Taking our organic superfood business on the road with us and inviting community to join us along the way.

How Our Story Began

We met in Guinea, West Africa in 2016. I was traveling on a trip with the Kissidugu Foundation, a non-profit Etienne's older brother Gabriel Fara Tolno started. I went to Guinea to immerse myself in the culture, study West African Drum and Dance at a deeper level and offer services to the Kissidugu School of Music, Dance and Education. From helping to fundraise water filters and solar lights to bringing herbal medicine and cloths and starting a school garden, it was trip dedicated learning and service.

Etienne was the first person I met at the airport in Guinea and a drum teacher at the school. Although, we didn't speak any of the same language, we fell in love. I returned to Guinea the following year and we conceived our first child, Faya. Little did we know the immigration process would take two years, which felt very long and slow! Etienne was able to come to the United States in 2019 and meet Faya (named after Etienne's father) for the first time when he was 18 months old.

We have navigated immense language and cultural differences but through it all, we have maintained a deep love and appreciation for the gifts we each bring to the table and bring out in one another. We have three beautiful children, an organic superfood and West African music business and we world school our children together.

Where did you get the idea to do this?

It's always been a dream of mine to world school my children and connect and integrate with communities everywhere we go. As a person who loves travel, I spent six years after college doing just that, having new experiences, and engaging in entrepreneurial endeavors, has always been a priority of mine. There is no better education I can think of than to give our children the experience of living life to it's fullest and embracing it's diversity and all the natural wonders of our beautiful planet.

Etienne spent the majority of his life in Guinea and every since being in the United States has a new found passion for traveling and seeing the world as well. As a very talented musician, what a better way to share his gift far and wide with his family, and upcoming band, by his side!
